Student and Campus Finances

 Despite the crippling economy, it is important Lourdes University reconsiders the tuition and expenses. This way, students will be accommodated for the loss of funds and the unaffordable cost. Additionally, if the perspective is shifted to raising money such as fundraising and donations, then problems would have the backup of funds to combat the problems. 

Students are going into thousands of dollars of debt without proper assistance to guide them from unnecessary mistakes in finances. Cost of tuition has gone up at least four thousand dollars and continues to grow without reason or results. The purpose of this formal report is to bring awareness to the importance of funding, and create an environment that's affordable for present/future students and faculty.  

Ways to provide service:

• Increase overall student life and involvement

• Better usage of campus facilities on campus 

• The hosting of more events: Raffles, Game Nights, Bake Sales, Dinners, etc.

• Providing students with more information regarding financial aid such as FAFSA. 

These ways allow students to have equal opportunities to receive more scholarship/grant money, so that they can further their studies at a University that not only cares for them, but wants them to succeed.
